Why I Wanted to Interview Andrew Persistent, highly motivated and driven are three great words to describe Back Cap and Canterbury Wizard Andrew Ellis. After making his debut for Canterbury in the 2002-03 season Andrew had to wait 10 years before receiving a call-up to the New Zealand squad. In that time he had to deal with, and overcome five stress fractures in his back. It is this persistence and drive to get to the top, despite the obstacles, that I was interested in exploring with Andrew during our interview.
