Why I Wanted to Interview Gael
At an age where many people tend to neglect themselves physically, or begin to reduce their exercise quota, Gael Warren is showing no signs of slowing down. Not only does Gael maintain her regular Yoga and Pilates training but she has recently started Strength Training at her local gym to compliment her existing routine. It is this attitude to life and her belief that you are as young as you feel that got me interested in discovering what makes Gael tick.

Sporting Achievements & Accomplishments
  • Gael has been practicing Yoga for 27 years.
  • Gael is a certified Yogi in Iyengar Yoga (Level 1-2). In 2000 Gael studied at B.K.S. Iyengar Institute in Pune, India.
  • Gael has also studied and instructed Yoga in San Diego
  • Gaels specialty is the therapeutic and restorative applications of Yoga. She believes through this approach we can become increasingly proactive and responsible for our own health and well being.
  • Gael current exercise/well being routine includes Yoga, Pilates and Weight Training. She also regularly walks and hikes. 

More Interesting Information
  • Gaels has a duel New Zealand, American citizenship.
  • During her early childhood Gael spent two years in Wilson Home where she was treated for a tuberculosis infection in her left knee. For much of her treatment she was immobile. This experience contributed to Gaels need to be active.
  • Gael spent her twenties backpacking through South East Asia, the Middle East, Europe and South America before settling in the U.S.A.
  • Gaels interests include family, conservation, travel, gardening and design (interior and dress making)
