Why I Wanted to Interview Terry
As well as competing at an international level and winning several national cycling titles himself, Terry has spent the last twenty years coaching New Zealand cyclists of all ages and levels. During his time as New Zealand’s Head Track Coach Terry secured Ten World Cups and three World Championships. Terry has also coached cyclists to Olympic, World, Junior World, Commonwealth, Inter Continental and National Titles and been involved as a coach in Pro Tour riding on the Professional Peloton in Europe and the USA. During our interview I wanted to gain an insight into the types of techniques Terry uses to get the best out of his athletes and explore how these techniques could apply to those of us wanting to make changes ourselves.
